Greatest player ever: Pele'
greatest striker ever: Romario'
greatest 'hole' player ever: Maradona
greatest Midfielder ever: Cryuff
greatest winger ever: Garrincha
Defenders?...I don't do defenders.
these 2 deserve a mention Di Stefano and G. Best.

I can't really suggest anything for this, since all of the 'greats' played before my time, although I think that if Pele was the greatest player ever, he would also be the greatest striker ever.
Or is that just me being pedantic?

No,you're right...but the striker catergory make things interesting and gives me the opportunity to big up Romario :) ).
