His show just started today. Actually I don't listen to Howard anymore but one of my kids here has it. I didn't know this but if the house has satelite radio you can set any radio in the house to a certain channel and his show comes on any radio you have in the house.

I'm skipping Stern for a while. Burned out on the show and hoping he dumps a few regulars (Richard Christy, Sal, Ronnnie the Limo Dude) and livens it up a bit. Read that George Takei has joined. That's funny. Goes from being a oft-mocked celeb to a regular.

In LA we got Adam Carolla and he's cool. Adam's show is a good listen. Seems like his format will include a guest host each day (Kathy Griffin, David Alan Grier)

"Ace" Carolla has that west coast flair and I'm listening every day now.

I tuned in a bit today, and it was fun. I heard Keith Olberman as his guest for a few minutes, which was pretty entertaining.

He hired George Takai to "host and moderate" his press conference, and also announced hiring long-time NYC curmudgeonly TV and Radio beat reporter Penny Krone to work for his "HOWARD 101" news team.

I thought Stern stopped being funny right around the time Steve Grillo left the show. It really went downhill when Stuttering John went to The Tonight Show.

However, I do like Artie Lang better than Jackie "The Jokeman" Martling.


I'm not going to buy Sirius since I already have XM.

Stern isn't very funny by himself, but the way that the group plays off each other is smart and entertaining.

I'm waiting until I buy a new car shortly and I'll get Sirius in it. I already have XM in the Familymobile.
