What is the Argentine Summer Tournament/Torneo de Verano. Is it seperate from the regular Apertura and Clausura tournaments?

It's a pre-season tournament, a warm up, to the regular season, which features the biggest clubs in Argentina. It's basically kinda like the Peace Cup.

Hola,
I will be traveling to Argentina from South Africa over the next two weeks and would like to watch some of the Verano tournamnet games. But I cannot find any info on this at all online. If you are knowledgable on the Argentinain football scene and could provide me with some insights on where these games are being played (in BA?) and how I can get tickets, and any other tips, I would really appreciate it. I would also look into seeing the Libertadores game that River play on January 26th. Any suggestions?

The tournie is held in Mendoza (think), Salta and La Plata (could be Mar Del Plate). I suggest you go to La Plata (Or Mar Del Plata), as it's closest to Buenos Aires and you can go back to Nuñez for the Home leg (if it's played there).
