Even though I'm a UH alumni, I was cheering my head off for the Horns.

Well deserved, Vince Young is the very best in college football.

Great job Horns, Hook'em!!!

National Champs, Texans should be proud.

HOOK 'EM HORNS!

Vince Young was asbolutely amazing tonight. I love how none of the media cared about him before the game because of a certain Heisman winner, and after the game it's all "wow look at Vince Young!" Yeah, no crap.

Fireman, I edited the thread title just in case. I doubt we'll have to worry, but you can never be too careful about people and spoilers.

It was a blast to watch "the greatest team ever" loose to one player.

Do we know if Vince Young is entering the draft this year?

It would be great if he stays another year so that the Texans could draft him next year after taking Reggie Bush this year. :D

The new Houston team colors should definitely be orange now.

I read somewhere that given the rep of UT's Mark Brown, he will definetly convince VY you stay. The article also stated that VY might want to work on his arm a little more. Plus the traditions of UT will want VY to come back... Heck....come back next year for another Nat. Cham...

But that would be awesome...having Reggie and Vince togetther!
I like Leinharts "oldschool" type of game. but in today's NFL..... not really...IMHO.

Yeah I've heard he was staying at Texas. I don't think anything's definite of course, but everyone says he's staying for his senior year.

Congrats To the Horns you made all Texans Proud.
Much love for the hometown boy made good...Vince Young. :D
Either way if he stays or he goes to the NFL, the Houston Texans still need to pick him up. I for one always wanted Bush this year and Vince next year, but if Young is smart he will come out and be the Texans #1 pick.
Just look at Matt Leinart, he would have been the #1 last year, now everyone is starting to knock him. Young's stock will never be higher IMO.

Don't feel to sorry for Leinhart, he'll still be in the top five, and if Vince doesn't come out, he'll probably go number two to New Orleans. His second half performance was near perfect. He just can't run like Vince.

Why do so many people misspell Leinart with a spurious 'h'?

Congrats to UT Longhorns. As a Northern Californian who will nearly always root against Southern California teams, I was pulling hard for UT. And I became a Vince Young fan after watching last year's Rose Bowl. What an unbelievable athlete. Can we redo the Heisman vote?

Congrats Texas...you deserved it and Vince was incredible (and this is coming from an Aggie no less). Despite his performance though, I don't think that he would pass Leinhart in the draft and thus probably won't be coming out. If he comes out now, he still probably isn't a top 5 pick (unless the Jets give up on Pennington) but if he goes back to school, he could be the first pick if he has a year similar to this year.

The only real downside is that I have to hear an endless amount of smack talk from all my Longhorn friends. :(

If only Vince Young had a good left foot ---

I didn't spell it correctly because I simply don't care about him enough to know the correct spelling. I hope the world keeps spinning.

After that comment about USC still being a better team than Texas after the game, it's more like "Whineart.

If there's one player in that game where they throw pigs around, it's Vince Young. He is incredible. Ha, my family doesn't give a sh!t about pig-ball but we were all in to that game. When the 4th 1/4 ended the neighborhood went insane. There was so much cheering from all around. I will remember this game or a long, long time. Until I lose my memory due to excessive head injuries, but I should have a tiwhile before that happens.
I liked when they asked how Texas will respond to the championship. "Well, they're all here." :D I know that's not the exact quote but you know what I mean.
