This has nothing to do with football, but wanted to congratulate the Argentinians on a great boxing match last night - Baldomir beat American Zab Judah in a unaminous decision. I'm American, but was totally embarrassed by the total crap attitude and lack of class shown by Judah. Baldomir fought hard and clean and kicked his @ss, while Judah acted like an @ss. You should be proud! Now I hope Baldomir gets to beat the crap out of a mexican next!!

He said yesterday during half time that the two big fights were offered 3 months apart from each other! That he was ready to accept la 'guita'

Rumour has it that Baldomir might be fighting Ricky Hatton next, but I've also heard that Gatti wants to fight him. I saw the Judah fight. He tried to blame Don King for his loss :p

Here's a nice article about Baldomir. He fights Saturday vs. Mayweather. I hope he beats the living sh** out of that guy. What sucks is that the fight is only on HBO.

I'll look into it, but I think Mayweather signed with HBO so that all his fights are with HBO only.

Supposedly? He's a great boxer, but I'm rooting for Baldomir cuz he's a tough mofo. Mayweather's speed is scary, but if Baldomir can pressure him against the ropes throughout the fight he'll have a chance. If he thinks he can box the guy in the middle of the ring, man that'll be risky. For the record, I've seen Mayweather run into trouble with this other Argentinian boxer a few years back so you never know. But shit 50 bucks, I havent paid for a ppv in like............

SHOULD BE A GREAT FIGHT, and long?

Current Champs in Baldomir's class

Welterweight (147 lbs)

WBC WBA IBF WBO
Carlos Baldomir Vacant Kermit Cintron Antonio Margarito

If Baldomir is able to retain his belt, I would really like to see him take Margarito for a unification. Now thats a PPV I wouldnt miss, but I know it would be on HBO or SHO.
