Ehh I know not many people follow the Czech league, but I'm still interested to see the clubs people support.
Just make sure it isn't Sparta, Slavia, Ostrava, or Brno. ;)

I just wanted to see the interest of the Czech league from people who post, and I am not too surprised it is rather low.

I am a fan of 1. FC Slovan Liberec. No particular reason really, I just remember watching them play against Liverpool and being impressed by them some years ago in the UEFA Pokal.
I don't remember the goalies name (was it Kinsky?) but I was impressed w/ the goalie.

Bohemians Praha.
I may yet see them play this year, after two failed attempts in the past, if only I could find the fixture list for second half of the season for 3rd division teams.

Fixture list for the 2nd half of the season should be out soon. How are they doing this year? Are they looking at promotion?

I should warn you that some of the dates in the later fixtures could change - between Saturday or Sunday. I checked on fotbal.idnes.cz and they said Bohemians were away to Slavia B, but the FA site says they play someone else. I would think the FA site should be correct.....

I'd vote for Chmel Blsany, as it's the Czech word for beer 'Hops' I believe.

Drnovice played in the first division for a few years, but had financial difficulties, so they are now in the 2nd division. However, they play in a town of only a few thousand.
It is amazing that a club like Blsany has been able to stay up in the first division for so long. Each year they are always fighting to stay up and this year isn't any different.
