i played poker at a casino for the first time in Saint Vincent, Valle D'aosta, Italy.. at the Casino de la Vallee. I actually LEFT with 3x the amount of chips that I started out with. Who wants a game?? you cameron?? ;)

All you indie phans out there...all you jamband phans...there is an amazing band...called Akron/Family...unbelivably melding both indie and jam qualities into an eclectic and experimental sound. I'm going to see them sat....I can't wait.
check em out. the selftitled release and the collab with Angels of Light...WOW.

dude, it is very nerve-racking when you are the only one at the table who speaks english as a first language.... i was literally shaking on some bets..
few drinks calmed me down though....
and ya steph.... i got up early, and pretty much held onto my stash..:cool:

I'm not sure what songs are on their myspace...but 'Italy' on the first album and 'Future Myth' from the collab album w/Angels of Light - excellent songs.
they hail more from the freakfolk (Devendra Banhart) side of the indie world..
