Let me just say, Alan Green is a twat and is the biggest Liverpool fan i've ever heard, commentators are supposed to be fair and not baised but thats not the case with Green. He'll just talk about how great Liverpool are after each game on 606 phone ins.

Fair play to Big Sam for doing that.

I despise Alan Green... good thing he's only on the radio and I don't need it anymore.

He's just as bad doing England games.

The BBC is very baised towards Liverpool. I hate it. Hansen and Lawro witter on about Liverpool the whole time. Oh lets talk about Liverpool for half the show, and Chelsea and Arsenal for a while and then everyone else for about a minute and lets completely ignore Spurs because we hate them.

All the pundits are ex Liverpool or ex Arsenal or ex Spurs. But they never let the ex Spurs guys talk about Spurs because Hansen and Lawro have to much power.

Stupid twat hates and always predicts us to lose, a commentator asked him if he thought spurs could come higher than Arsenal and he said "NO!" in angry way.

the media tends to be full of ex Liverpool payers.

I think the Bolton are ugly thing is very unfair and if watch Bolton you'll see they can pass around pretty well.

Paranoid much?

As to Bolton and "ugly talk" - that's like Wayne Rooney complaining about "ugly talk".

Lawro might as well just say that hate Spurs with all my heart. In his predictions he never even ever mentions Spurs, just talks about the other team and then predicts Spurs to lose.

On saturday Hanson and Lawro were going on about Spurs not having enough strength in depth, that if they lose some players important players to injury they will drop down the table. Then on Tuesday Spurs lose King and Davids to injury and they beat Man City 2-0 and Andy Gray is going on about what strong squad Spurs have that they can just players in to replace other -Gardener and Brown.

Hanson is a good pundit but Lawro influences him to hate Spurs.

Big Sam is great.

He should get a shot at managing a bigger club, newcastle maybe. If not club, then perhaps a shot at England job.:D

Mark Lawrenson is the BBC's second worst pundit, whose only job appears to be to make very bad jokes. He never gives the impression that he knows what he's talking about. You feel he wings it each week, trusting his own opinion rather that actually trying to research any teams he's giving opinions on, and you just never feel like he adds anything to any show he's on.

Worst of all is Ian Wright though, who is in a league of his own for uselessness. As long as the BBC feels the need to 'balance' pundits who can talk and educate with a "character" alongside him, it won't get any better.

Well done to Sam.

I heard the commentry of the Bolton/Liverpool game on 5 Live and it was appalling. Green was distraught when Diouf put us 2-1 up. That's not what a national radio commentator should be like, he should be unbiased but he clearly wasn't then.

Anyone who saw MOTD will have seen Alan Hansen have a completely different opinion of the game.

The only overreaction from Sam was over the Gerrard 'stamp' on Nolan. Kevin said he didn't mean it and that's good enough for me.

Alan Green is a fat, biased, rose-tinted, arrogant snide prick who a takes pleasure in seeing his inane antics annoy others.

Sam Allardyce on the otherhand... oh well, you get the picture.

Tbh, Green is a right prick. Used to slag us off constantly. Even the town, what the ******** that had to do with football I'll never know. If I want a social report on the state of North-East England, I'll put on Radio 4, you obese twat.

Yeah, but Middlesbrough is a shithole ... ;)

Says the guy from Liverpool.

Of course :p , but why should he be using the time devoted to talking about football to persue his own individual show indebted to talk about what the ******** he feels like?

Its completely irrelevant...

Just proves he is a twat, and failed at hosting a night-time talk-show slot where he can bitch about anything he wants.

A girl I used to know from Athens came over here for a series of interviews, one of which was in Middlesbrough. She said she'd never seen anywhere as horrible in her entire life and couldn't understand why anyone would live there. The guy interviewing her tried to show her the sights of the city, and showed her the riverside stadium and the transporter bridge. In the end, seeing he was getting nowhere, he started going on about Newcastle being quite nice, and not too far away.

She didn't take the job, surprisingly enough.

You leave Wrighty alone! I like him.

That bit where he's so p!ssed off he can't talk after we, (England, that is), got beat by someone, (forget who), was brilliant. One of the best bits of telly ever.

I agree, I love Ian Wright's punditry. He says it like it is in a way most of us are thinking, he's the perfect balance to the more serious pundits.
