we just got a 2 room flat in Emdenerstr, Tiergarten, 58m², non smoker, 2 stops from Zoo and 15 min to the Olympic stadium, 4th floor, fully furnished and equipped, nice flat, 5 people ok (especially families), 1000 Euros incl a month, 350 Euros incl a week

That's a good location

It's a fairly central location, but it's in Moabit, which is, how shall we saw, a bit ghetto (although this is a relative term).

For reference on the price, I pay 385 a month for 64 sq. meters in a renovated historic building with a balcony and hard wood floors (and in a nicer area). Then again, I have a lease. I don't knowhow much price gauging is going on, but that seems a bit excessive to me.

5 people in a 58 sq m flat? I hope everyone uses Dial, if you know what I mean (although again, that area is well know for packing foreigners into fire traps, a bunch of Poles were killed nearby about a month ago).
