They summitted a 6m bid and Rangers said it wasnt enough but I dont think they increased their offer.
French side Bordeaux end interest in Rangers' Madjid Bougherra.

Triaud revealed Laurent Blanc will now pursue other targets such as Lokomotiv Moscow's Marko Basa.
He said: "We haven't taken our interest in Madjid Bougherra further and there are no plans to do so now.
"We understand that the player is very happy at Rangers and he has indicated to us he wants to stay there.
"So as far as we are concerned if he says he wants to stay there that's what he will do."

Bougherra and Zebina turning down Bordeaux is a shock to me. You have a Franco-Algerian and French player who dont wanna play for the best French team. Rangers and Juventus are great clubs but its a shame that players who are French and played in France dont wanna come play for the best French team. Zebina isnt even a full time player at Juve and at Bordeaux he'd slot right in and start. Oh well, they will find someone who really wants to come.

I think its hard to find a true french player that wants to play in France---the reason being is that all French internationals have way more success when they leave France
In fact look at the past French greats, they all moved away from France
its sad though, France makes great players but they cant seem 2 keep them

Plasil was a good signing. He's an international player who's been capped over 40 times and he's played in Spain for 2 years and they got him kinda cheap. The goalie they got from Toulouse is good too. If they make more intelligent signings like that then they will be ok.

Bordeaux VS Villareal
Good 1st half by bordeaux
a bit dissapointed by both teams with their missed chances
Bellion scored a good goal
Cave. had like 3-4 chances, missed all of them
solid performance by Diarra
Plasil was dissapointing to watch but its preseason so its understandable
Defense was solid for the most part, only a couple of mistakes
Mene did okay, some good pases
Gourcuff as always playing great:rolleyes:
Carrasso has to be the man of the match making 5-6 great saves
definetly a great sign:)
2nd half im probly not going to finish so someone tell how it went

Chamakh is threatening not to give 100% if he's not allowed to leave. He's being a jerk but he said he wanted to leave a long time ago so really the club should have sold him soon after the transfer window opened and had his replacement signed soon after that. The club waited and dragged it out hoping he'd change his mind and that was a mistake.

actually he didn't say he didn't intend to give 100%, he said he wouldn't have a good season, suggesting his subconcious motivation wouldn't be there.
c'mon, chamakh not give 100%? he may as well have said, "i've gotten it into my head to grow feathers and fly!" there's a better chance of that!

It appeared to me Chamakh was waving goodbye to the fans after his goal this evening. Also, Blanc needs to get the defense sorted out quickly. Henrique was extremely poor today and I didn't think Planus, though normally solid, looked much better.

Utterly demolished....that Wendel goal was a hell of a shot. Looks like at least one team won't be starting off slow this year.

Hopefully he doesnt move to Inter this season, maybe nest season:)
Bordeaux need Gourcuff like Men need Women:DXD
his worth more than 10-15mill, 1 more year & we can sell him for 20+mill
even though it would be sad to se him go

I really can't explain why Milan would let him go for 15 million. He is easily worth 25, especially if Aquilani is worth 20.
Gourcuff is a joy to watch though. Brilliant.
