Wow, that's quite bold, but on the basis of how they played to end the season, having l'OM as champion would not be that far-fetched. I think if they do, it's Mandanda as top GK and Ben Arfa has best outfield player, they're the keys there, I think.

Well I cant read French so I dont know what all the 'experts' in France are saying but I doubt all of them are picking Lyon. For example, I have no idea who Le Equipe and Le Parisien are picking or do they do picks I dont know

I didnt see the game so I dont know if the red card was too harsh. Could they have held out 1-0 if they didnt go down to 10 men ? Probably not against a quality team like Roma.

on youtube it would look harsh because the slap/elbow/whatever doesn't touch anyone. but it was vicious, intended to cause harm, and above all henrique had been acting all match like what he is: a gold plated punk.

i thought bordeaux was ready for europe but apparently i was wrong, maybe a couple more seasons, and they will be better, but to do that they need to win at home as well

Gourcuff has been amazing. His 15 million price looks to be a bargain IMO. I hope Bordeaux buy him.

I think there will be a lot of pressure put on them by fans and media to buy him but I don't see it happening based on their track record of transfers under this current ownership. Have they ever spent that much(15 m) on a transfer before ? I don't think so. Maybe if they finish in the top 3 there's a better chance of signing him. but we don't even know if he wants to stay.

enjoy him while you can. In a couple of seasons, gourcuff will be to milan's midfield what zidane was to juve's in the late '90s...I hope at least. :D
Gourcuff was excellent again today, nice skill.

listening "between the lines" to his post-match interview i wouldn't put a red cent on his staying in bordeaux.

Triad needs to realize if they bite the bullet and play the 15 m for him then they can sell him in a few years time for more than double that amount. Thats good buisiness.

Yeah, the biggest obstacle I think with Gourcuff is not even Bordeaux finding the cash to sign him but Gourcuff's desire to stay, which is pretty much nonexistent. He's an ambitious boy which is why he left for Milan at such a young age, and why he stayed there a further season despite not playing. So he's going to want to go to a bigger club.
Though I don't know if he'll want to return to Milan, and he may hope that his club is willing to sell him to someone else.

Milan dont have any plans for this guy. They only care about signing "stars" like Ronaldinho and Beckham. Gourcuff goes back there and he'll just sit behind said star player again. Thats why Bordeaux have a shot of keeping him as he's more important to them than to another team.
