Looked a fair challenge to me as Reo-Coker was going for the ball,on the flip side at lease Essien knows how it feels to be on the receiving end of one of those tackles. His tackle on Hamman comes to mind.

I'm looking really hard for a reason not to bin this. I'll give it a couple of hours to see if I can find one.

shhhh... we all know it was just a slightly late tackle, but you can't discuss things that might not cast chelsea in a good light on this board.

He should've been booked for it but I don't think there was any intent to injure.

Slightly late? Essien has damaged ligaments. You really are the village idiot.

Oh, I agree - there's just no point to the thread.

I'll just say what every rational person, who isnt a chelsea fan is thinking - Essien got what he deserved.
After countless dirty tackles in just about every game he has played, he was finally on the receiving end. He says he is not out to hurt anyone, well neither was reo-coker, but he needs to realize that people still get hurt when you make stupid tackles like that.
