Bruce eyes Polish midfielder
Birmingham manager Steve Bruce is continuing his attempts to strengthen his squad with Poland midfielder Piotr Swierczewski his latest target.
Swierczewski, 30, has linked up with Blues for a trial period - with Bruce contemplating whether to sign him on a free transfer from Marseille.
The former Katowice, Saint-Etienne, Osaka and Bastia player also recently had a trial spell with Everton
Swierczewski, who was a member of Poland's 2002 World Cup squad, has fallen out of favour with the French club's new coach Alain Perrin and they are considering releasing him to save on his wages.
Swierczewski has a French passport so he would not require a work permit.
He has also been on trial at Everton, and Moyes called him a "top player". We will wait and see which club he signs for - IF ANY!
