I thought Judaism, like Islam, was a monotheistic faith which teaches its deity is the only true one. But if Judaism's Yahweh and Islam's Allah are the same deity, then who am I to judge.

I'm not going to pray for anyone, but there's a man's life in the balance here. Have at least some dignity for God's sake. Hell, if I can let an "Arafat is dying" thread in peace, surely some around here can put their anti-semitism on hold for one thread.

Netanyahu scares me more than Sharon ever did. He may be the only Israeli leader to scare the heck out of American politicians with his commentary. I remember when he was in office before and he managed to upset a usually complacent American press. Regardless of what I feel about Sharon and his policies, sometimes the devil you know is preferable to the one you don't. I don't know how Netanyahu will react to the current situation in Israel and Palestine, and that makes me more nervous than anything else. Well, that and the split in Fatah.
