Okay, this is our last year in the big metal stadium that the Broncos play in and where CSC gets to rape us every time the Rapids play. So I ask, what do we have planned for this season?
We know they are going to be as hard-a$$ed as ever and we will have quite a few Wens. games, but are we going to go out on our hands - with our tails between our legs - or are we going to push the envelope (at every chance) and have some fun?

Anyone want to do/pull off anything? (please post the legal stuff here, and pm any illegal ideas ;) )

The way I understand it is the Rapids are just as responsible for the way we're treated. We can't blame all the problems on CSC. Do you really think the Rapids will let us get away with stuff like flares and cussing out the referee threatening their lives? This is Denver, CO, not Mexico City.

Cussing out the ref? Who doesn't do that now? - Right This is denver, where people don't cuss or yell at the ref.

And slow down there big fella, not saying we should riot (all though I will admit that it might be fun) I'm just saying causing little bits of humorous anarchy would make gametime a little more enjoyable. Like the post it flags on toothpicks things.

Oh, and there is a certain bit of treatment that CSC gives us that the Rapids FO is not responsible for and cannot control. I think you forget that the Rapids are not playing on a field they own, so I will not apply 100% blame to the FO, I won't apply even 50% of the way CSC acts to the FO, since the FO is not incharge of CSC since they are a seperate entity. I will fully (and have) blame the FO for the way they treat the fans (eg. lack of communication ect.).

Are you implying that since this is Denver we cannot do anything that a "Mexican" fan would? Or are you applying the we are "better" then the "Mexican" fan from Mexico City stigma - that we must act the typical status quo for what the "typical" American soccer fan should act like? Bit nationalistic when you don't have to be, you think?

How about I write you off as a big fat Nope. Not going to do anything out of the ordinary, drink beer, watch game type a person, K. :)

Maybe the guy who puked all over his shoes in section 127 can come back. :)

Wasn't me, but YES!

Not really, that's just mean. Think of the poor mop guy... now unless he pukes on a yellow jacket, then that's fine ;) .

But I like where you are going with this... fake vomit. Interesting. We will have to see what we come up with. I mean, we can't stand on seats, but we can stand on buckets. :D

The shirt's not the exact right shade of yellow, but try to imagine how nice the Centennial Firm logo (& perhaps also the USMNT's DIY "Don't Tread on Me" iron-on) would look on the front of this :D

It would sort of tear me apart to not be able to wear my Rapids jersey, but I think I would get over it. I could still wear a Rapids hat and wave a flag or a scarf to show my team loyalty. It would please me to no end to stick it to CSC each and every game this season by wearing a shirt to mock them---moreso if there were a sea of us.

Cursing? Done that. (a lot)

How do you explain the CSC-Rapidman incident? It's not the clubs fault that CSC's pathetic organization doesn't even train their personal. I've seen better organization from Girl Scout troops. Since it's our last year at INVESCO, why not be irritating to those part-timers? Whats gona happen? Are they gona put more little green sheets of paper in our cup holders? Now I'm really scared. I haven't been thrown out of a game yet.

Obviously we shouldn't be so irrational as to insight riots or anything else too extreme. We need to do it creatively and in ways that they won't expect.

If you really wanted to push it you could put the SS logo on the shirt, though I doubt you would be able to get away with that. (though it is more fitting)

Me likes! Stick it to The Man on the back (mock their jobs, tell them to leave us alone) and support our club on the front---CFirm logo or the like.

chili, rep to the idea and I will rep you for it.

I will be happy to wear one of those in Class IV for the games. We need to spread out and cover area, you know?

I love it. Exactly the kind of thing I was thinking about. :D

Perhaps it should say "EVENT STAFF FINANCER" with the "Don't Tread On Me" stuff!

If you really wanted to push it you could put the SS logo on the shirt, though I doubt you would be able to get away with that. (though it is more fitting)You could easily wear a different shirt on top to get into the stadium and then take it off to reveal the CSC/SS shirt. You could make the "SS" part an optional iron-on for the people willing to be thrown out.

I'd wear one...

Do we really want to be on their radar? How about we do this the last game of the season. They could technically ban us from INVESCO Field if they wanted.

Why would you get in trouble for wearing an event staff shirt? I had a friend who worked for some kind of party planning firm and would wear that kind of stuff all the time. It's not like they're cops and your impersonating an office. I say Event Staff is fair game so long as they don't say CSC on them.

Amen Brother!

Preach it! I seriously dowbt they would ban everyone from Invesco that wore the shirt.
If they did, I think the FO just might step in at that point.

Viva La T-shirts! :D

Or we could change it! We could put CCS on them instead it cold stand for
Colorado Centenial S (something that starts with "S"). :D

Pablo here.I've been unable to get on-line for a while but good to see folks chatting it up. Great quote on beginning thread in regards to Barca..I've yet to pick up that issue of World Soccer. Anyway.... yes it is good to bring this subject up again...I am close to deciding on never going to a game at Invesco again and possibly in 07' at the new stadium because of "Fan" treatment. The F.O. NEEDS TO STEP UP in regards to this issue. I think maybe they point me out more because I am of hispanic heritage and my appearance isn't quite the "norm" for fans of sport...regardless of my grease-backed hair, vintage clothes and tattoos...my love for the game is deep.It courses through my veins so much that when my blood spills it forms a 4-4-2 formation.I was at there for the rapids v. chivas followed by Mexican Chivas v. Azul match. During the mls game the rapids fans were barely allowed to breath but boy when the mexican friendly game began..I saw fans standing on seats not being bothered,I saw flags on poles beings allowed,I saw fans allowed to be fans all through-out the entire stadium without being told to sit and be quite,I saw fans not only smoking but asking CSC staff for a light..and getting one!! NO LIE. I fear if things don't relax a bit then even the New stadium will be the same.I'm not saying the entire stadium should be a pissed-up raging riot but allow "Fans" to be "Fans".As it is now the entire place has the atmosphere of a day-care.I love kids and I love (wink, wink) soccer moms, but come on...people wonder why soccer in america has the image it has..well who can blame them when it gives an appearance of a sunday school social.F.O. if you read this then PLEASE.respond,I know I am not the only one who feels this way.....oh yeah the Tee is a good Idea,I just hope you make ones in long sleeve because I would't want my tattoos to offend the close-minded squares in yellow jackets or even certain Rapids F.O staff members for that matter.
P.S. "...pissed-up " means enjoying your adult beverages.

does anyone want to dress up as a pirate with me during a game? I have these black and blue pirate pants they would go so well with a jersey and a pirate bandana thing..oh well haha.

Well'p, I can tell you for certain that CSC made life difficult for us for our "INSECURITY" yellow (and some powder blue) tshirts with "La Barra Brava" "0012" on the front left. :D (Actually paid for with money from a court settlement with CSC regarding an incident where a leg was broken via their thuggery.)

Same (worse for them actually) with some ESC people with their "$7.50/hr Tough Guy" yellow shirts.

But then, you're not exactly mocking them either.

I'd go for waiting until the first incident happened. Which means, historically, the first game of the season. We could do this for the remaining 15 then...
