I am a child of the 70's and was therefore aware of the music in the early 80's. A child of the 80's would not really relate to something released in 1982. You are reaching! :D
So, what's the cutoff? I was born in 74. Am I child of the 70's or 80's? I mean, I remember seeing Star Wars in the theater, and The Muppet Show on TV. That was 1977, so does that make me a child of the 70s?

But this was the quote, bitch. :D
Take that music nerd. Don't you think I know that the song was off tha album. But so was the song 'Thriller' which was sited as the song.! :D :D
And GP, back up.

Sure why not, I'm from '72. But you remember Star Wars in the theater? I was 5, so you remember things from when you were 2-3 years old? Pretty impressive. :D
Edit: I think if you are born after mid-decade, then you are a child of the next decade. A 76'er is too young to really remember hearing Zeppelin on the radio, when it was first released!!!

Seeing Star Wars in the theater is pretty much my earliest memory. My dad says he didn't take me until late in it's first run in 77. He and my uncle took me to see it, then brought me to Toys R Us to get "me" the figures. He jokes that they played with them more than I did that first weekend.

The only brand new Zep I truly remember hearing on the radio was Fool In The Rain, but that wasn't until 1979. I really remember Yes' "Going For The One" (dad) and Meatloaf's "Bat Out Of Hell" (mom), both of which came out in 77.

None taken Cam. I've actually really enjoyed this conversation. No drinking for me today. Today was day one of the new diet. Water and food bars and fruit and ********. However, I intend to get a little toasty up at Bready's on Sunday. :D

decided you needed to lose some weight?
i eat well during the week and exercise at least 3 times a week. on the weekends, anything goes. Kept my weight steady (185) since I stopped swimming, which is good because I used to go from 205-210 at the start of the season to about 170 when season was over.

Yeah, sometimes reading text sounds a bit harsher than it is, just wanted to make sure. We had a 'reception' for the company being sold today, which seems weird. Anyway, had a few glasses of vino there, then a few more at home. Drinking water now as I have to work tomorrow.
BTW, WTF!!! How do you score a TD when it is 4th down and the D should be looking to plug all running lanes!

Yeah, I've needed to lose weight for a while, but never stayed truly committed to it. This time I want to get to a point that by the time I go to Highbury I won't be considered a "fat American." It's doubly important, as there's a chance that I'll get a chance to present the ArseAm POTY trophy to Thierry.

He is though. I have a large family on my Dad's side. My dad was a center in college football.

Yeah, we're working with the club on a date. I'm really hoping that they're cool with the match against WBA in April, as that's the game Rick's lined up for me.

My mom's side is really large, but I'm built more like my dad. If I stuck to it, I could look a lot healthier. I'm 5'8", and 246. Looking to get down to 190-200. I've spoken to LA WeightLoss, and they developed a whole plan for me. The only problem is that it's $7 a week, which comes out to be about $600 or so, and they want a good chunk of that up front.
EDIT: Another FG miss by TX. Will it come back to bite them in the ass?

I've been working on that as well. I've dropped 40 lbs since college, and I'm clocking in around 175-180 now. I also work out a few times a week (although that's reduced since the hotel gym blows) and quit snacking. I try to eat better, but still fall into bad habits sometimes. However, the hard and fast rule is no eating after 9 pm at all.
