You can find plenty of good reds for under $10!!!
I don't remember the wine we had in London, but it was a pinot grigio style from Spain. And it knocked you on your ass b/c you're a light-weight! :D
EDIT: Steph, a pretty good Shiraz I tried recently from Australia was called Woop Woop (I liked the name so gave it a try!). Not too strong overbearing and pretty smooth. It is less than $10 and has a wine advocate rating of 89.

All this talk of wine is making me very glad that we are going to the opening of a friends wine bar in Atlanta tonight! :D

I read that one a few months ago. It is an interesting read, but gets kinda repetiative. I like reading the articles about the different derbies in 442 over the whole book, but it is worth reading.
haven't read Football Factory. the movie is good.
The movie is supposed to be released here in the states soon, so I'll have to check it out then. I heard from a friend in London that it was good.

LOL! The Fat Bastard Chardonnay is pretty good though!
I got a wine called "Ball Buster" the other day because of the name and it was pretty good, though I think it was a blend.

no go on my phone working in the UK. It works on 3 bands, UK phones work on 4 bands or some ******** like that. A coworker might give me his cell phone from London that he used a few months ago, might have to reactivate it or i'm going to have to buy one that works all over.

Any one tried "Two Buck Chuck" yet? $2 bottles of wine that are actually supposed to be drinkable? My dad says they're, well, drinkable, but I've never tried them?

I don't know who to root for tonight. Both teams smacked my Wolverines around in the last two Rose Bowls. I guess I'll go with Texas since Austin rocks. And USC...well, they could be the Chavs of the Pac Ten couldn't they? Best team money could buy? ;)

Though I'm an Aggie, I have to pull for the Horns if for nothing more than the USC band is the gayest I have ever seen. Beat it by MJ? Then with the crotch grab and "Hooooo" scream. USC deserves to lose for that in and of itself!!!!

They are soooooo frickin obnoxious. I can't wait to see P. Carroll cry about how they were screwed during the match and should be the real champions. That bitch is such a cry baby!!!!!
