We'll be able to make some lemonade with this lemon.

José Mourinho has indicated that should Michael Essien’s injury require treatment over the next few weeks, he will stay at Chelsea to complete it. That may rule out his chances of competing in the African Cup of Nations for Ghana.

“And Essien I think is not going. To do treatment is better to stay with Chelsea. He would be going for nothing.”

this doesn't surprise me at all. I just hope we won't rush him and he won't experience the same constant problems as Robben did last year after his injury.

If I remember right, the FA of Ghana medical people have the final say on this matter - regardless of what Chelsea have to say about it.

unless they are "persuaded" to let him stay and be treated at Cobham.

Funny you should say that, but no. CSKA Moscow was supposed to be that club, but once Roman sold Sibneft, they cancelled the sponship. This is Dynamo Moscow, anyway.

haha - wrong club.

Maniche is a great player if you get him - that'll be real competition for Essien if he gets a few good starts

I was really impressed with him in Portos comeback against you lot last season.

Yeah, he's pretty good. I think if anyone can use him though, its Arsenal. It was a bit pathetic watching Arsenal try to pass the ball into the net today. Take a shot!

Hleb was completely the wrong purchase for Arsenal, even if I think he's a good player.
