Well, I woke up @ 8:30 AM EST & got my confirmation e-mail. It came through at 2:12 AM EST, I got what I requested, 2 each for the 3 first round games, Cat III. So I'll be there with Sam's Army. (# was 306x)
My happiness is tempered by reading that so many didn't get tix. I am truly disappointed for all of you & hope that you can still get them through today's FIFA lottery or the "secondary market". I was planning on going in any event. Good luck! I fully expect to see many if not most of you in Germany. Keep the faith! Schoenes Gluck!

at 3:12 am, Guess they finally did put in an allnighter. This process was the most inept thing i have ever seen. I feel for everyone who didn't get them. Good luck with FIFA.

I got my Ghana tix, but not the Italy tix. Oh well, one is better than none!!!!

Success -- 2 each category 4s for all opening round US matches. (I chose 2s and 3s but I'm not complaining.) I got mine in via Fedex, first delivery overnight or whatever that most expensive overnight option is, 8xxx confirmation. I'm guessing they must have had a ton all come in at the same time and figured out some random way to check them in. Like whichever ones they pick up first? Or maybe randomized later. So there is a glimmer of hope for any overnighter shippers who are still in the dark.

For those that didn't get tickets, best of luck with the final FIFA drawing. I saw a few people asking about when the cutoff time was and when I was still in doubt about my own tickets saw that it's Midnight, CET (Central European Time) tonight. Now, you should double-check this but I believe this means 6PM EST / 3PM PST today. The most important thing is to know that you don't have until the end of the day in your time zone, or til the FIFA people wake up Monday AM or such.

Also, if anyone cares, the latest FIFA news lists all the games nobody seems to be lining up to see:

Tunisia – Saudi Arabia (14 June in Munich), Saudi Arabia - Ukraine (19 June in Hamburg), Paraguay - Trinidad and Tobago (20 June in Kaiserslautern), Iran - Angola (21 June in Leipzig) and Ukraine – Tunisia (23 June in Berlin).

If you only got, say, a US-Ghana ticket and are looking to pad your order so you aren't flying all that way for 1 match, you might take a shot at one of these matches along with the US ones you are missing. Good luck guys!

I'm not sure, but my theory is they allocated a certain amount of tickets for each method of application (FAX, FED EX, USPS, etc). Why else would they bother making the distinction over that when they gave us our confirmation numbers?
