Are you sure about this? In Australia applications were accepted by email. After the huge numbers downloaded the application form the FFA recommended all people send applications by email. 11,000 aplications were received in the first hour. Mine was sent as soon as they opened at 9AM but I got a delivery receipt saying it had been delivered at 10:06AM. I missed out. I don't see why FIFA would mandate fax's to the USA and allow other nations to use email applications. I think local associations would be able to distribute tickets however they wanted.

I had tried to fax from the minute the form was released, gave up late in the day and sent UPS priority overnight delivery. for some reason the UPS plane from dallas to chicago was delayed at DFW. Form delivered about 1pm instead of early in the AM.

I requested 2 tickets cat 1 or (anything else) for Italy, Ghana, Round of 16 and the quarterfinals.

I was in on a UPS shipment at 7:22 am and my confirmation # was 84xx

The round of 16 tickets are conditional. The group tickets are much harder to get. I'm not sure it's a favor to get ONLY conditional tickets - although I'm sure we're going through, am I $2-3,000 sure?
