OK USSF must be like sending out each email like individually or something? I'm a next day fedexer with 86**.... I might be up for a while.

They are billing and emailing confirmation at the same time. It was in that last email they sent to us I think.

11:59 looks a bit optimistic at this point - regardless of time zone.

My wife downed three beers and hit the sack. If I was smart, I'd take advantage of it.

I agree that this is a mess, but I'm not at all surprised based on the way things have gone so far. Consider . . .
First, the application emails were not even published at the right time -- some applicants got their passwords early while others got them the NEXT DAY(!).
Then the downloaded application form was unusable for Mac users, it was jibberish. THEN the faxes were impossible, despite assurances that preparations had been made . . . the response was "overwhelming", despite the fact that the application process was invite-only to a set number of applicants . . . the eligibility list was closed weeks before the applications began, yet the number of applicants still surprised US Soccer (???).
THEN the notification date of Jan 4 passes, and not a word on anyone's application status. THEN a notice published this week that says WE'LL HAVE IT ALL SORTED OUT SOON . . . and now most applicants won't know their status in time to rejoin the FIFA lottery without jeopardizing the current applications by duplicating them.
This is pretty ********ed up, isn't it?

Does anyone seriously believe that those assh0les are still in the office, sending e-mails and charging cards? I'm doubting it. They don't really give a ******** about their fans/clientele. They're at home and will send an e-mail tomorrow morning giving us a lame excuse for why they didn't meet the deadline and insincerely apologize for "any inconvenience."
I'm almost guaranteeing it. This has just gotten out of hand.

That's me! FedExed app for Wed a.m. arrival and got a conf. no. 200XX. Still, I haven't received a waitlist e-mail yet, and somehow my spirits are buoyed by that fact. *sigh*

I feel like Bart Simpson at Kamp Krusty; hungry, tired, fed up, but never stopped believing. . .
Rocking back and forth chanting the mantra, "Krusty is coming, Krusty is coming. . ."
