Nothing yet on eBay aside from a pair of US-Czech tix for $900 that don't appear to be from the USSF pre-sale.

I did find this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ENGLAND-WORLD-CUP-TICKETS-2006_W0QQitemZ6596760960QQcategoryZ58740QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) though :D

I have not received an e-mail yet.

BTW, I sent my request by fax in the final hour....

...which means I won't hear until February.

Lyrics by Jack Johnson:
Well I was sitting, waiting, wishing
You believed in superstitions
Then maybe you'd see the sign
The Lord knows this world is cruel
I ain't the Lord, no I'm just a fool ...

Must I always be waiting, waiting on you
Must I always be playing, playing your fool

Nothing personal against the people who work at U.S. Soccer, but good gawd, the system they have in place is absolutely awful. I mean, c'mon! You've had the damn apps for well over a month now! Do they really have an excuse for waiting until the last possible second to inform people? It must have been a while since they took customers into account because e-mails this late are definitely unacceptable.

Ok, I'm done...this is just so freakin' frustrating. Well, maybe it doesn't help that my now exgirlfriend is no longer going on this trip and I"m freaking out about the increased cost. Well...I may have an extra ticket for sale at face, if I do get tickets, anyhow. A cheap flight for sale, probably, too.

See this is what I don't understand: They have done this several times already! I wasn't into BS last time around, and wasn't planning on going to Korea, so I didn't really follow the process, but I can't imagine it was as bad as this. I find it incredible that increased demand could screw up the whole system. Isn't all computerized anyway (after the data entry), or are they still using carbon paper over there? I just can't comprehend the incompetence.

I got these tickets through my employer, who is a major sponsor of the World Cup. My employer gets them directly from FIFA.

Well, don't be so sure about their technology over there. Fax is soooo 80s. Incompetent is a great word to describe those folks at Soccer House.

11:14 here on the East Coast. Does that mean that there are 46 minutes left or 1 hr. 46 minutes left? Oh, did I add to all the rest that this sucks.

But ya know, spreading false information is fun -- right?

The Australian FA accepted internet orders.

Well FIFA didnt mandate using FAX. Supposedly they did say no internet ordering. US Soccer should have just not accepted faxing and instead only allowed mail orders.

The Australian FA accepted internet orders.

IIRC, it was an order form that could be emailed, mailed, etc.

Things tend to be different with those damn Aussies.

You could email the actual order form to them -- it wasn't an internet ordering system.

FIFA said that no internet ordering was allowed for FA allotments.

OK USSF must be like sending out each email like individually or something? I'm a next day fedexer with 86**.... I might be up for a while.
