Did anyone ever get an answer on how many applications and tickets were requested?

I wonder if they only notified people who are waitlisted because they def. were not getting tickets.

Are you saying there are still more to be denied that are borderline?

Well, yea, I guess that is what I had in mind.

I think it's quite possible that they are now processing payments and emails for tickets! Maybe there will be a few denied right at the cut-off.
Perhaps they are counting the pick-up time for the "morning fedexers" as I haven't seen any of this group denied yet. Or maybe there weren't that many faxes afterall.

Only if you let it. Be proud, be loud. To hell with them.
And be Wasted. ******** the whole 'be an ambassador to your country' nonsense. I'm going there to have fun, not impress people with how polite I can be.

I think I'm in the group where some of us will get tix and some of us won't. I Fedexed and it got there at 9:43 am on Tuesday. Considering how few got faxes through on Monday, and how many got FedEx's there at 9:43 am I wouldn't be surprised if the cutoff where somewhere in the middle of the 9:43 am Fedex's. Or maybe it is the 7 am FedEx's, but I think there were fewer of these (so maybe they all got lucky).
Only 4 more hours until it is no longer Jan. 14th, Chicago time. C'mon emails!!!

I know that myself, Galaxian, JMal, and a few others are in that group as well. That would suck if some of us got in and others didn't. It already sucks that all BSers are not in there...

I fully expect and will be disappointed if there aren't at least a few O'Shaughnessy nights.

I would find this hard to believe, since there is such a wide slice of us soccer federation representation on this board.
I do hate scalpers for the record though:mad:
