I didn't see in your original statement what tickets you were requesting. Remember that category could impact your selection even if you were ahead of someone else who got tickets. I don't want to clutter the board with posts on these complexities as we are all waiting to hear someone who gets a positive confirmation, and am not looking for you to reply to this post. Just review your application and see if there is something in there that would have made your request a higher risk request.

Any game. Any price level was what I put on the application.

Believe me when someone here gets a positive confirmation this forum will explode!
I'm sick with anticipation and nervousness ...

Sorry dude.
At what time did you get your email?

Email was sent at 4:31 p.m., according to hotmail. I expected as much.

Still kinda ticked off: I'd like US Soccer to refund the cost of my international Fed Ex... They made the ticket application into a mad dash instead of something fairer, like a lottery.

But also kinda relieved: with the international situation (i.e., the war) it's going to be a tad bit uncomfortable to express our Americanness in Europe... And I had applied for tickets for my two young boys too... Plus, it was going to be hard to ask for time off work.

To those who do get tickets: congrats, be happy, be safe, show the world how classy US fans can be...

We wont get ahead of ourselves. There could be another mass mail of denials, but I think they've known who's in for a while. Definately positive for some...

I don't have an email yet, and my confirmation was 202xx (unless there is something funny going on with gmail). My package arrived at 9:30 on Wednesday morning. I am not too optimistic. Still, I continue the vigil...

Sorry to hear that, and I've wondered why they did it on a first-come, first-served basis. I think, they didn't have a clue that they'd have this kind of response for tickets. They were probably looking at the sluggish sales of Korea (I called US Soccer 3 weeks before I left to see if we could get a few more tickets for the US-Korea match and I got them) and didn't project high enough. I hope they learn their lesson and put this in a lottery system next year.

Only if you let it. Be proud, be loud. To hell with them.

I'm just in disbelief that they are taking this freakin' long after having had those applications for well over a month. Would it be wrong to get some t-shirts made bashing our Federation for the way they handled this?
