A watched pot never boils so I'm gonna take a break and walk the dogs. And since a watched dog never poops I'm hoping I'll have some good news by the time I return.

While they may not actually charge your card today if you are allotted tickets, **Has anyone's credit card been charged by USSF yet??

The tickets that I got through FIFA TST-USA, my card got charged about a day before the confim. email arrived.

My FIFA tickets were not billed until about a week after I received a confirmation email.

As for US soccer, how many people have gotten an email on way or another? I still haven't heard anything yet.

:) still hoping!

may I ask why you did not question receiving such a high confirmation number in the first place?

Didn't understand how they were doing it.

Is that central time? Or eastern time?

I'm still holding out hope...

I have a hard time believing everyone who was waitlisted received a mass email at one time because there haven't been but about 10 posters who have reported receiving such an email.

Didn't understand how they were doing it.

I didn't see in your original statement what tickets you were requesting. Remember that category could impact your selection even if you were ahead of someone else who got tickets. I don't want to clutter the board with posts on these complexities as we are all waiting to hear someone who gets a positive confirmation, and am not looking for you to reply to this post. Just review your application and see if there is something in there that would have made your request a higher risk request.

Eastern.

My guess is that they were sent roughly in reverse order of receiving the applications.

What did that email say? What was the title? Just curious, and anxious, and need something to pass the time.

All we have heard so far are the denials and waitlisted, has anyone received confirmation that they were receiving tickets? I know there is a confirmation thread started, but nobody has checked in yet.

Again, sorry to go off topic, but... Watching this boring Seattle-Washington Playoff game is making me eager to see some intense soccer this summer...

so far all of the wait list emails around 5:30? It could have been a mass mail, as members already have confirmation numbers from the app.

Dear U.S. Soccer Fan,

Thank you for your World Cup ticket application and your support of U.S. Soccer.

You are on U.S. Soccer’s Priority Waiting List for 2006 FIFA World Cup tickets.

Additional ticketing information is available at www.ussoccer.com. For another avenue to purchase tickets, we recommend you participate in the 3rd Stage of the FIFA sale which ends at midnight on January 15, 2006. More information on this sale can be found at www.FIFAworldcup.com. Please note: U.S. Soccer has petitioned FIFA for an additional allocation of tickets and should any become available, tickets will be offered to those with highest priority on this list.

Should you wish to be removed from the Priority Waiting List, you will need to submit a request to tickets@ussoccer.org via your ussoccerfan.com e-mail address or in writing with the customer’s signature via fax or mail. Your receipt confirmation number should be included with your request. Once you request your order be cancelled, the priority of your order is no longer valid.

Once again, thank you for your support of U.S. Soccer.
