I have heard from one person who got waitlisted even though they got their fax through Tuesday afternoon. So, it looks like I should have paid for the 0800 delivery instead of the 1000. Wouldn't it be sickening to miss out on tix because I wanted to save $20 on shipping? Argh.

My number is 10XXX.

If it's true that they did it in order received, then you had to have gotten through early Monday afternoon to get tickets. If not, I got hosed or a lot of other people got hosed.

Just from the little info that I have looked at re: confirmation numbers, yours definitely seems to be a bit out of whack...

PS: You live in or around Chicago? How did you get it there so fast (even same day delivery)?

this is crazy. no one could have gotten through on monday because the cutoff is 10 AM in the morning for fedex same day. since you didn't get the order form until around noon, i doubt anyone could have same dayed the order form. US Soccer did not allow for hand delivery or courier service. we live in chicaog and could have dropped off the form at noon. we got ours in at 9"30 AM on tues. through fed ex and our conf. # is in the 8000's...this is bs

FWIW, FedEx same day service just uses a local courier to deliver the package. USSF indicated somewhere that courier deliveries would not qualify. That would be one possible explanation why a sameday didn't get tickets...

While it is true that they use local contractors, it's still a FedEx package. I mean, are they checking uniforms or something? And I've got a not-so-cheap charge on my credit card to prove that it's FedEx.
