Would have liked to know that two weeks ago. Besides the fact that I did not get tix (understandable), US Soccer embarrased itself in a convincing demonstration of their ineptitude. If I handled my profession in such a bungling manner, I would kill myself.

When did your app get there?

Sent it USPS and it got there first thing in the morning...on Dec 21 :)

I had to wait for a credit card to show up, so couldn't send in my application until the 20th. There was no indication at the time of how much demand there was so I thought there was still at least some chance I'd get 'em.

Thanks, I actually have an offer from a BigSoccer poster who can't go who offered to sell me his tickets for face if a couple people who requested before me got in on the USSF lottery so hopefully they got tickets!! If not I'll probably just buy thru a broker (at least for the Czech and Italy games) rather than take any chances with the lottery, and hope to cash in on some high-profile tickets in the lottery to sell and help defray the costs.

Wait listed. Bah humbug. I'm cancelling my order and instead going to Brazil in April or May. As poorly as this has been handled by the USSF, I'm not going to jump through any more hoops. Those who go, cheer your lungs out!

Also FWIW my confirmation # was 30XXX, and I think my application got in about a week later than anyone else on this board.

I'm kind of hoping, and it would make a bit of sense, if they notified waitlisted folks first and then confirmed. That let's the waitlisted people jump into the FIFA pool if they so desire. Not that it makes waiting any better for those of us who've not heard anything yet... but at least the iceflow is starting to move.

Well, the waitlist folks should have a standardized email so it makes sense to send that in one mass mailing.

Is anyone else hitting refresh on their email account every 2 seconds?
