Milwaukee Barons T-Shirts

From the team design thread, just posting here so it is more visible for anyone who wants to buy a Milwaukee Barons t-shirt.

OK folks, here's the deal on the Barons T-Shirts. I have a quote and you can get a black T-shirt with the Barons logo screened in green for the low, low price of $7 + shipping. Minimum total order is 12 shirts.

Can't wait to get mine and wear it proudly around Water St. and of course back home in GB!!! Can't hurt to start building a statewide fan base!! Any new news on when we can expect to see our shirts??

Order placed on Friday, January 27th. Been told there's a standard 10 day period to screen, etc. I'm hopeful of getting them by Monday, February 6th.

I had a slight delay due to my misplacing of the logo and a little thing called Badger State Games.

I still don't get it. Why have T-Shirts for a team when you don't know they will be the Barons? Are you trying to will the team into a name? :confused:

Balaton, the way I see it is that, yes, in part, it's to will the potential team into the Barons. It's also a keepsake (to me) if this doesn't work out, a reminder.

However, it's also just a way of getting word out to the public. The only people who are likely to be looking at this these threads are people actively hoping for Milwaukee MLS to occur, or just interested in any MLS expansion. John and Jane Doe likely have little to no idea of this effort. If someone asks about the shirt, it can easily be explained. If someone sees it, but doesn't ask, they can do a search on google, and this board is one of the first things that comes up. Ultimately, if we do get a team, but it has another name, that's fine, too. I can certainly think of worse ways to spend $10-15.

For what it's worth, I see Houston 1836's team colors are black, orange and white. Is Harley Davidson a big presence in Houston?!

Shirts are being printed as we speak. We had to change the t-shirt color to gray since some of the black in the logo would look funny on a black t-shirt. I hope everyone is okay with that?

Shirts are done. We ended up going with a white shirt since the design looked better that way. Unfortunately, the cost has gone up a little bit due to screen set up charges, etc. Still, they're only $10 a piece. I have everyone's address and will be sending out the shirts via USPS.
