Another one on D-Day.... I forgot the exact percentage, but a high number of German defenders on the beachheads were not Germans. They were mostly Eastern European solidiers capturned by the Germans. Many of the real German soliders were handicapped soliders who lost their limps in earlier battles. The Germans believed the soliders only needed to sit in their position and fired their guns so the soliders did not need legs.

The story behind the Paris Commune of 1871 after the Franco-Prussian War. The French government with Louis-Adolphe Theirs payed the Germans to invade Paris and to destroy the Commune. The Commune ruled Paris for close to 50 days.

It was a claim made by Stephen Ambrose. Some percentage of the Germans were probably handicapped. Given the situation in Germany, Hitler would have used every soldier avaible.

Anway, a few Asian soldiers serving the Nazi Germans were capturned by the Americans on the beachead. Their identity is still a mystery. Some said they were Koreans sent over by the Japanese. Others said they were Central Asians capturned from the Soviets.

On a side note, both Chinese and Japanese officers took part in the invasion of Poland. The two countries were at war, but the Germans were "allies" with both countries. I believed the Chinese were studying at German cadat schools while the Japanese were observers. Little is known of their duties during the invasion or whether they worked together.

The fact is Rothschild played apart in the Baulfour Decelaration. How is the question paying the UK war debt, Promising American troops, or Forcing an Arab uprising against the French or British in the Middle East.
