Unless he goes to Arsenal, where that team's style of play will suit him down to the ground.

I think with Pires on the way out, he would be the ideal replacement and I'm sure Wenger is already thinking about this.

Lyon and Arsenal would be good destinations.

On second thought, if Ribery is a true trequarterista, he'd find little
room at Milan, due to Kaka and Rui Costa, and at Juve he'd need to
bump Nedved from the attacking mid role. Hmm. Inter might make
room for him, but Inter is sort of the blackhole of Italian soccer . . .

How well is Ribery playing now, by the way? I saw him lift up the
French U-21 side over England, that was a great performance.

Ribery is playing very very well at them moment. He had a double this weekend in the French Cup. As far as being a player in the mold of Kaka and Rui Costa, I disagree. This might be biased as I'm a Chelsea fan, but the person he reminds me of most is Joe Cole. He plays really well on the wings but he's at his best when cutting in from the flank and finding through balls or taking shots at pace. For me, he's perfectly suited to playing a wing forward in a 4-3-3.

Disagree with that. Ribery can distribute from midfield and
feed strikers, too. I don't at all see him in the Joe Cole mold.

First noticed him when France played England in the U-21 qualifiers for the Euros. He's quality. Wouldn't mind us getting him to replace Giggs

That last goal might be the most amazing goal I've ever seen.
