Who would've thought that a man that looks like Tony Soprano and shpeaks like thish would reverse our fortunes so much? We've found a new hero in England's Number One, and we went to the kennel and got ourselves a Pitbull. We went to Leeds, Derby and another part of London and got us 3 of the more exciting prospects in English football today.

Happy New Year,

Yep. Only two losses at home in 2005 and both were to Chelsea. Great Achievement.

Wow, that's really a monumental achievement. The first mark of a top team is making their home form consistently dominant. This is a fantastic feat.

Mido has done well this season, he may need a kick up the backside occasionally but he does usually give us a physical presence up front.
I saw that 2005 stat yesterday, that is impressive. We are really strong at home and that is important to keep our run for europe going.
As Jumhed has said: In Jol we trust.

Tottenhams best goal of 2005: Erik Edman.
What do others think?

Not even a contest. It would of been 'goal of the year' most years.

on Fox Soccer that goal was number 30 on their countdown.
As for my goal of the year..."...And Mendes has tried to lob it over him...."

Honestly i think that this half to the season has been the best since 1989/90. We finished third that season, sweeping goals in from everywhere. Walsh, Lineker, Gazza, Stewart. It was quality... and now we're doing the same in 2005/6.
2005 as a whole has been outstanding. The wholesale changes that happened in 2004 as well really started to show in 2005, Carrick and Dawson for me have been the outstanding players. They have come on in leaps and bounds.
For only Chelsea to have beaten us at home in 2005 is amazing. One of those was a dodgy red card that sealed our fate and the other was no way a 2-0 defeat, I remember watching that in a pub with a diehard Chelsea fan and he was almost ashamed they had won it 2-0.
The future is bright. 18 games to go, and 4th is there for the taking :)

Well guys, it's been a great 2005. Not just on the Tottenham front, but also on the BigSoccer one too.
I joined in January 2005 and in that year, I feel as though I've made friends with all of you, even that Star Wars wannabe on the Newcastle board.
Cheers for making my year guy's.
