Tough game at the COMS. Pearce has got City in good shape. Not in great form but hard to beat on there own ground.

A draw would be a good result. Though i believe we are due a great preformance and are bound to thrash someone sooner or later.

I'll go for 1-1

your thoughts?

Is it on TV?

They are a hit and miss team, sometimes great and sometimes very poor.

Hopefully we'll get them on a poor day and we play well.

Winnable but i will go for a draw.

I'll also take a draw as i usually do in the away games.

If we play like we did today then we could beat them. I would expect basically the same team as today.

I'm predicting a 1-0 win Robbie Keane.

Yeah Danners it is on Sky Sports on Wednesday.

Are next 2 league games are both away to Man City and Liverpool so it's important we don't lose them. There both going to be tough.

and yes it's on sky on wednesday

I have a feeling that we'll lose this one, but I'm not going to spoil anything.

0-0 or 1-1.

Should be a good match.

We are missing Reyna (I'm praying he's ready for the World Cup). City is hungry for a positive result, but you guys have the momentum going into the match.

Should be fun.

I've decided that I want Bolton to win against Liverpool today. Although that brings them close to us, it means Liverpool dont get a serious gap ahead in 3rd and makes things more interesting all round.

I'm not so convinced by Liverpool. Great recent run of wins, but narrow margins and the tiredness will start to bite soon.

Much better to keep everyone bunched together, and if the team can't finish above Bolton on their own merit, then they don't deserve Europe.

Results went quite well for us today, although the team does need to take advantage of that againt City.

I don't like our chances of keeping a clean sheet without Ledley away from home. I hope for at least a score draw, or sneaking a 2-1 win though. Just as long as its better than the awful West Brom game.

Yes the results were near perfect for us. IMHO, we need to win the next game. They're without Reyna, but Barton has been playing quite well and truth be told they do have a decent team. Still, if we play solid defense we just have too much talent to be happy with anything short of 3 points.

I don't put too much weight into positioning at this point ... it's the points we need, and I'd love to get 6 out of the next two games, but 3 is a must I think. Liverpool is playing very solid soccer now, but as they're likely to be vying for a champions league spot along with Spurs, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea, one of these very good teams is going to miss out. I see the Liverpool game as a swing game.

I say play for the win, draw be damned. Our pacey forwards matchup well against Liverpools defense, and with Carrick and Davids in central midfield we should be just as tough as Liverpool in midfield. The key is getting aggressive service from our midfielders to our forwards ... and not sitting back and letting them lull us into a defensive posture. If we allow that, they'll eventually score on us.

I've found a very very worring stat for us.

Man City have been on sky 6 times this season, and they've won every time they've been on (apart from the cup game), so every league game that has been shown on sky or prem plus they have won.

My hopes have gone down dramaticly.

When's Ledley back? I've been to a few games this season and we look so vulnerable from crosses (especially without King Ledley). But this is exactly the type of game we should win if we want to finish ahead of Bolton or indeed Arsenal. But it's spurs, so 2-2 probably.

Well, they have to lose or tie eventually. I rember last year every time Luis Garcia scored for Liverpool they won up until the game with Spurs, which ended 2-2.

I will go for a draw or a 1-0 to us for this game.

Ah, glad it's on tv. When i saw this latest round of games i was sure Spurs were on but then saw that we didn't even play with the rest of the teams.

Arsenal vs Man U tonight should be good, then us. Results yesterday (besides Liverpool really) went our way. So a win vs Citeh takes us within a point - regardless of games in hand - of Liverpool.

It looks like Ledley wont be back for the Liverpool game but should be back for the Villa game on the 21st.

jeebus, colm! you're basing results for mighty spurs upon man city's tv schedule?!

if mr jol has the lads ready to play, nothing sky, or city, can do will make a difference. 0-2, dammit.

...now that I've heard that stat, I'm feeling more confident in us winning this game.

"For on the 7th day (or 7th game live on SkySports), God rested (Manchester City lost*)."

* I in no way state that Manchester City are a reincarnation of God in anyway, shape, or form as I strongly believe that I am the reincarnation of him :p

How can you be the reincarnation of G-d when he's not dead?

We'll win this unconvincingly. Truth is, I haven't been 'convinced' by Spurs this season, but we just seem to eventually beat teams by having better players who can do more than the oppo's can.
