Carlos Ruiz of the LA Galaxy mentioned in a spanish language interview that he has received offers from two English teams, one of them Everton.

The Galaxy's GM has stated that Ruiz is committed to playing for LA for at least one more season, but I could certainly see Carlos leaving for Europe this summer if he continues to light up the scoreboard for the Galaxy.
I think Ruiz would make a great addition to the Toffees. Though he's not too big, 5' 9" and 170 lbs, he's muscular and could certainly handle the physical demands of the Premier League. He's surprisingly good in the air for his size, has good speed, and an uncanny knack for scoring goals. Last season for the Galaxy, he scored 32 goals in 32 games.
