This is the funniest by far!
Actually, since Version 3 is no longer Sticky, might it not be a good idea to link to Version 3? That way if someone wants to find some previous info they won't have to search for it so much.

I've heard something very pleasing about a January striker signing. Don't know how true it is, but.. £5-6m for Eidur Gudjohnsen.
Wants to play upfront more often instead of midfield, well up for joining Spurs who he sees as a good forward-thinking club and if Chelsea sign a forward then he may come to us.

...he is a Spurs fan after all. I would love him at the Lane. If he were to join, I could see him scoring around 10 goals this season.

Watching Tony Parks save Eidur's Dad's penalty is my favourite Gudjonsson moment. Ah...the glory of a UEFA Cup win...I was 8.

Oh yeah, and another thing.
If we're looking at a 4th striker there is a player i'd like us to take on. He has his problems, his history and his mood swings but when he was here the first time i have never seen such a good finisher for his age.
Nicolas Anelka.
Sadly he's an ex-gooner and he does have issues, but harness his power and he'd be top drawer. Nobody has been able to do it yet so besides that season at Arsenal we haven't seen his best.

When he was at the French academy he played in the same team as Henry, but he was several years younger. Henry said himself that Anelka was a better player.

Figo - Barca to Real
Beckham - Man U to Real
And Savvakis Kareklas. He used to play for us and then made a comment just like the one Morten made. Two weeks later, he was at Ermes FC.

Some other rumours. These from Sunday actually..
Harry Redknapp is keen to boost his squad by signing Tottenham trio Sean Davis, Michael Brown and Noe Pamarot. (People)
The Pompey chief is also linked with two more Spurs players - Pedro Mendes and Anthony Gardner. (News of the World)
They only have one player i'd want, Matthew Taylor.

i was gonna mention kareklas. the moment i read pederson's comment, savvakis popped into mind.
the anelka thing really could work, though. one of the things that has really impressed me about jol's team is the way that players like davids and mido - who have reputations for being a bit disruptive - have not only flourished, but have had precisely the right attitudes. anelka in the right frame of mind is a force.
that said, i hate him, and don't want him in a spurs shirt - even if he's only trying to pick up chicks. of course, were he to pop in 8 or 9 for us in the spring, i could change my mind. but 'til then...
