apparently Rasiak on his way to Southampton on loan, with the option of a permanent 2 million move. Not sure how this fits with the transfer rules though.

...me neither. I mean, it's so obvious that we are conning Southampton out of their money. :p

the loan window opens today, not sure for how long though. So players can move but not permanently.
Southampton just signed Richard Chaplow, that bald kid from Burnley, on loan from WBA.

Well hopefully they can take the Scarecrow away. There are more fields in Hampshire than there are in London for them to pitch him up in.

I remember that program. It used to scare me.
PS. It still does.

We could always ship off Rasiak and sign Iverson till the end of the season (shudder...)

Iversen? What a waste of time and fat space!
I remember the reports in the papers in 1996:
"Every top club is after the Norwegian international. AC Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and some other teams in Europe are interested in him, but it looks as though he may sign for Gerry Francis in a shock move to Spurs".
Does anyone else remember those articles? Bloody mocking us. One of the worst forwards I have ever seen in a Spurs shirt.

He was highly rated, but then got injured, fat and lazy.
He was depressed and homesick, so he turned to pizzas, burgers and beers. Then got spotty and injured a lot.
I liked him, but he never played enough.

Iverson had potential, but I agree that he is way past it. Would be fun to see him if he signs with Everton, though.
Oh, and the Iversen comment was a joke, hence the (...shudder) at the end. I don't usually shudder after having a good idea :)

That we should sign Iversen till the end of the season.

Here's the link to where Ribery says he likes Spain very much because it has a lot of technical players.

I'm not worried about Ribery, if Jol wants a creative midfielder i'll be more happy with a established player like Rosicky.

Rosicky is a flair player. Murphy is a creative midfielder.

He'll be ok in the championship. Not sure he was good enough for the premiership.
This will give Barnard the chance now. Looks like he is the 4th striker :)
