It's ironic that both movies seem to have swapped directors: Bryan Singer, the director of the first two X-Men films, is directing Superman Returns while Brett Ratner, the director attached to SR before Singer, is directing X-Men 3. :eek:

I picked X-Men 3, simply because I read X-Men and other Marvel comics (rather than DC) as a kid.

X-Men 3 though I dont expect it to be as good as the first 2. They've had issues with cast members and other crew. Not sure what everyone's status is now, but a few months ago it didn't look good.

I am looking forward to Superman as I am a massive fan of the films, comics, and the director. I hope the film does former Superman, Chris Reeve justice.
I am also looking forward to X3 as I have been told it's the last in this series. Can anyone let me know who directed this one?

X-3, should be the best of the series. I am a diehard fan of the original Superman and Chris Reeve. No-one can replace him IMO.

I'm more looking forward to Superman Returns than X-Men 3:The Last Stand.
I've been hearing from f'd up shit about X3, but good things about Supes.

Why does anybody think the Superman picture needs to be any kind of homage to Christopher Reeve? If I were making it, I would pay no more attention to Reeve's Superman movies than I would the old 50s TV version with George Reeves.
Did I hear correctly that Marvel is doing and Ultimates animated movie?

Yeah, I got an e-mail from Sony pictures saying that that's not a black-and-white photo, but Spidey's actual costume. It was a little misleading since the e-mail title said "Spider-Man black costume!" or something like that, so I thought they were gonna have some sorta symbiote plot going on. Hence, Topher Grace playing Eddie Brock. Yeah, I can't believe that last part either.
Anyway, I guess I'm looking forward to Superman. Bryan Singer did a great job on X-Men and an even better job on X2. I saw a trailer for Superman and it looks great. I hope it lives up to what Nolan did for Batman Begins. Saw a trailer for X3 and it also looks good, but for some reason I'm not as excited. Saw the Beast though, and damn he looks cool. Angel looked kinda dull. Those CGI wings were just too obvious.
