Anybody else think this guy has been the best player in the Prem this season?

Definitely up there. imo, he's been Chelsea's best player this season. He's been simply awesome, over the past couple of seasons he's really developed into a real, real player.
In my top 5 fvourite players at the moment.

I still think you could argue that Lampard has been Chelsea's top man this year. Joe Cole definitely deserves the most improved award but not man of the season to date.

he has been playing very very well over the last 12 months. He has been the difference on numrous occasions. Let's hope it stays this way.

I was just saying the same thing recently. He's probably been our best player this season. Once Robben gets fully fit (and he's close) that's going to be a fun pair of wingers for anyone to contend with. :)

Don't know if I can agree that he's been best. Lamps for one reason, Terry another and the always steady Makelele. I will say he's probably been the most inspirational and influential when it's going tough. Definitely the most improved.

Gallas.
Even Supah Frank has been spotty.
Terry has played like a rock, but plays a single position.
Cole has caught on the past two months alright, but Gallas has been inspirational all season long, from various positions across the back.

...I can see where you're coming from, however I would have to give it to either Rooney or Gerrard. I suppose the big plus is they're all in the national team. Hope they all keep up their impressive form in the summer.
