My son and I are travelling from the US to London in April and are hoping to catch the Spurs vs. Man Utd match. I'm wondering if there is a centralized place (perhaps here) that people buy and sell tickets? It seems that such a thing would be of great value yet I haven't heard of any such thing. Any ideas anyone?

...to be honest that will be tough game to get tickets, so all I can suggest is to look on the Spurs web page, www.tottenhamhotspur.com to find out when the game will go on general sale, and be early either booking online or calling, the overseas number is +44(0)20 8365 5100....prolly means you'll need to be up very, very early in the morning to get some.

Sorry that I can't be anymore help.

Its a 'Category A' game, which means its more expensive and tickets are incredibly hard to get.

http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk

Maybe try here nearer to the game date, although i don't know how realible it is or how good it is.

I don't know anyone else who has used that site.

Is the game going to be on any of the thousands of Sports channels?

It is on a bank holiday Monday, it should be the main game that day so will probably be shown on T.V. everywhere but England.

...I was talking about the Newcastle game. Isn't that on the Saturday (31st)?

I thought you meant the Man Utd game. The Newcastle game is not on tv in England but is probably being shown elsewhere.

Oh lucky us. Again.

For tickets i'd try the official site, ticketmaster.co.uk or seatbooker.co.uk but be prepared for paying over the top prices on the last two..

Isn't eBay a trusted source?

You're not allowed to sell tickets on it, i think. After the Live8 fiasco.

Ah rubbish! I was put in charge by my boss so as to stop eBay selling our tickets for our events on there. They told me that they would not remove them.

So I came up with the idea of having this put on our tickets;

This ticket will not be authorised if purchased from any internet aution site

Ha! Stuff you eBay, stuff you to eHell!
