Now, it is probably Italy or Netherlands. Brazil probably makes a case.

Portugal does quite well...except we let a lot of our coaches out to other leagues.

I would rank Netherlands high as well.

probably holland. with italy second. england must be the worst. the only big league where none of the top teams have a domestic coach.

English F.A has crappy setup for bringing coaches through the ranks.
they're amateurs. But worst? I dont think so.

As much as I loathe Guus Hiddink, he's done well to take Australia to the World Cup, Dick Advocaat seems to have brought some consistency to Korea, Jol has finally gotten Spurs to live up to their potential, and Rijkaard's built an excellent Barcelona side. I'd say the Dutch look pretty good right now.

Portuguese managers? I'm struggling to think of a successful Portuguese manager that isn't named Jose Mourinho. Carlos Queiroz doesn't count.

Germany: Ottmar Hitzfeld, Christoph Daum, Ralf Rangnick, Felix Magath, Thomas Doll (from the top of my head)

I say the Dutch as well, but Argentina definately has the best managers outside of Europe.

I surprised no one mentioned Italy with Lippi and Capello.

I dont know whether you are sarcastic or not. Trapatoni was a great coach, but his last few years with the Italian NT destroyed some of his reputation. He still remains one of the best ever.

Scotland has produced the best manager of all time in Alex Ferguson.

Mind he should have quite 2 years ago.
