Awesome. I saw him in New Haven this fall. He played his *ss off!
Plus, I'll be in Austin for a week in April...psyched to see some REAL music! Keepin' my fingers crossed that he'll be around.

I have that happen around my birthday, which is in June, making it even worse. It's like somebody doesn't want me to get hammered.
Speaking of hammering, I highly recommend trying absinthe if you're looking for an extremely different kind of drunk. The way you get it ready is pretty sweet too. You put a slotted spoon on top of the glass, put a sugar cube on the spoon, pour the absinthe over the cube, then light it on fire. Wait about ten seconds or so, then pour water over the sugar and into the glass, drop the cube in, stir it in and bottoms up. You feel like you're floating afterward. Oh, and did I mention that it's 140 proof?

Yeah, although, if you manage to sneak it into the US (and a lot of people do), it's not something where they'll bust you for having it. You can even order it online at a bunch of different places.
