I'm bummed... the place downtown i wanted to go for New Years Eve is sold out, now i have to figure out a plan B. It won't be that bad though, all i need is somewhere to sit down and have some drinks, but i'd like to do it someplace really cool.
Yeah, I'm also trying to figure out what I'm doing tonight. I just got in here last night, and I have to check and see if my buddies in LA are doing anything.

Jim (Gunners11) has neither responded to my texts or PM asking for full payment. I told people I wouldn't be shy to put names up. It's gone on long enough.

I asked for payment for West Ham. At the 3RD PM he hadn't responded, so I asked Dan to give me his Mobile number. I texted him and got a message back saying he may not be able to make it. No offence - I don't give a fcuking sh1t. He asked for a ticket and should damm well pay for it. He sent £44.50 through paypal when I asked him to send £47.50 He didn't add any paypal fee's so I have received a total of £42.56 I know it's a small amount, but why the hell should I have to lose that money for someone who asked for a ticket and put it on the ticket thread. I sent him a PM asking for the rest to which he hasn't responded. Yet he has been on the site numerous times. The last excuse was too much Uni work.......... :rolleyes:

Anyone who thinks I am being out of order putting this - let me know, maybe it is a bit harsh. But I had to wait a full 3 weeks from paying for the tickets to the money getting to my account and then it wasn't enough.
You're totally not out of line by naming names. If somebody screws you, they deserve to be publicly called out and ridiculed. There's no excuse for doing that to someone like you, who busts his ass to find everyone tickets. Barring a death in the family, once he commits to something like this, he has to follow through. If he doesn't, he should be permanently SOL on tickets from you.

The thihg thats really wrong about it is just not communicating with Rick. If he gets in touch with you, get right back to him. Its really frustrating chasing people down like a bill collector, if there is a problem tell him what it is. But really, people need to stop asking for game tickets when they don't even have plane tickets. If the trip gets cancelled for unforseen circumstances, you should let people know as early as humanly possible.

Guess we'll all get back in our groove once the holidays are over and everyone is back on a "normal" schedule. It's funny how everyone's post counts go UP when they go back to work. LOL

Well, that sucked. I tried to go to three places. Two weren't open and the other wanted more money than I wanted to part with just to get in. Had I not been by myself or at least known someone inside, it would have been different, but I figure that I'll save myself some cash tonight and be able to put it towards my plasma TV. I can always go out drinking another day. :)

I flew back to San Diego on Thursday, and went to Downtown San Diego for NYE. I got a hotel room and went to this trendy place called Airport Lounge (http://www.airportsd.com/) with my date and four other friends of mine, all girls, of course. ;) It was really a great time. I arranged the whole thing, and the plan was to meet at the hotel at 8, and be at the bar by 9. I had stocked the room with a bunch of water and snacks, along with a bottle of Captain and some Cokes. Anyway, needless to say that i was sitting there in my black suit for about and hour before the first of my friends showed up. And there wasn't much Captain Morgan left by the time we actually went to the bar, around 10. At least when my date did show up (at about 9:30) she looked stunning. She had on a strapless black dress and looked like a blond Audrey Hepburn. I was incredibly impressed. We piled all six of us into a cab for the short ride over to the place, when we showed up at the door it was like a clown car full of hot girls. :D Anyway, the party had great food and great music, we got a table outside and put away about 8 rounds of drinks, and just had a great time. My date gave me an amazing New Years kiss. Got a cab back to the hotel with my date at 2 and passed out cold. I think the rest of the girls got back at 6am. Anyway, the whole night was fantastic. I didn't see any celebritys last night, but i felt like one. :)
