im a United supporter but i love Mourinho.
Well i love his actions, like him shaking hands with is assistants after sundays win at highbury. That was classic. I also respect that he says what he wants and seems to respect Fergie. I also find it hilarious that Fergie and Mourinho can sympathize with each other in their hate for Wenger. Wenger sux! :D

Mourinho has his talents... but Xmas seems to bring out the worst in him...
Unhappy holidays
It appears Arsene Wenger is officially off Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's Christmas card list -- but was he ever really on it?
LONDON (AP) -- Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and Arsenal's Arsene Wenger have found something else to feud about -- a Christmas card.
Almost two months ago, they were embroiled in a public battle when Mourinho called Wenger a "voyeur." Mourinho said Wenger had been making too many comments about his team.
Wenger responded by threatening to sue the Portuguese over the comments.
They're at it again.
Chelsea team officials say Mourinho sent an apology to Wenger in a Christmas card and that Wenger shunned Mourinho before Sunday's match at Highbury, won 2-0 by Chelsea.
After the game, Mourinho was shown racing from the field in an overt attempt to avoid shaking hands with Wenger.
Arsenal officials said Wenger had received the card but did not have time Sunday to acknowledge Mourinho.
"Humbug," the Mirror newspaper said in a back-page headline.

Mornhio is a self-serving imbecile. He was cocky but likeable with Porto, when he took them to European Cup glory. But since then, he seems to have an insatiable desrie to have his name in the press and his face on tv.
DEspite Roman's gajillions, i actually liked watching Terry and Lampard play because they were, and still are, to me, blue collar athletes who will do anything to win. But Jose has turned that club into his own dog and pony show, a 3 ring circus where you can't enjoy the act cuz of the idiot with the megaphone drawing attention to himself. He should let his team's success do the talking and keep his mouth shut.

He is a fud who gets far too much praise, especially considering what Ranieri had done to Chelsea. Claudio brought in their key players and got them to finish second, all Jose did was take the final baby step and waste money on the likes of Drogba.

but you dont want to give him credit for chelsea winning the league last season? As for drogba, yeah it is a waste of money but every big club wastes money on someone now and then :D

I find Jose funny, If we didn't have Sam at Bolton I'd want him up here.

Which, oddly enough, is the attitude I've found almost all English fans of clubs other than 'Pool, Arsenal and ManUtd to have. And in England, half the fans of the above don't really find Mourinho all that annoying either. But, fans in the US "know better". ;)

Mourinho seems to respect what Spurs are doing so I have nothing against him.
He is a talented manager, even if he has the Russian Dons blood money. He controls that team, and has made them into a cohesive unit, and he did the same at Porto with a lot less, I'm sure if he left Chavski he would have success at whatever club he decided on.
Arsenal fan's can say what they like, there manager is getting stumped by the better man.

He's a douchbag and slightly homosexual (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Anybody got a pic of him at Highbury with the thin trimmed eyebrows? http://www.xtratime.com/forum/images/smilies/howler.gif

No denying he's a bit of a tit. But he's a character not like the oh so riveting Benitez and Wenger.

Mourinho has the money and players to play beautiful, exciting football, like Barcelona of today and Arsenal of 2003. Instead he chooses to play a stifling defensive game, score a quick goal through the individual efforts of one of his many talented attackers, and shut down any semblance of attacking football.
It's like Juve except that Mourinho could very well adapt a more flowing system while Capello's entire transfer strategy has revolved around his defensive system. Mourinho goes out and buys SWP and hardly uses him (Robben, Duff, J. Cole and SWP on the same team seems kinda wasteful).
Mourinho's boring tactics continue to bring domestic glory, but it will be interesting to see how Rijkaard's Barcelona do this time around. They will be ready for Chelsea and there's no Tiago to hold back Victor Valdes this time. :D

Wow. Its rare that a poster I'm unfamiliar with stakes such a claim to being so clueless about football with the first post that I see.
In case you failed to notice it, and I'm sure you did, Chelsea and Barcelona scored the almost same amount of goals per game last year and this year. But, of course, its "defensive", because we actually have a defense. Yeah, that's it. I guess you also hated the French teams of 2000 and 2002, who got by on great defense and a few great attacking players. Ah, but I forget, you're an Arsenal fan. Let me guess, you weren't a fan under the Graham days? So you wouldn't really know anything about this defense thing, when you simply try to outscore the opposition, right? And then you wonder why you fail in Europe time and time again. Hey, kind of like Barcelona!

Hahahahahahaha.
You really get wound up and start with the personal insults every time someone points out how dreadfully boring Chelsea are, dont you.
I personally couldnt give a toss if Chelsea scored 100 goals a season (50 set peices and 50 deflected Lampard hoofs no doubt), you're boring as f*** to watch.
Even when you win 3-0 its a ground out result.

You say all this like there is something wrong with it?
I'll take a stab in the dark here, and would bet my house on it, that you would have taken a 'boring as ********' win in Portugal, be it 1-0 or 3-0.

If we're dreadfully boring, ManUtd are Cuper's Inter Milan.
