We're staying at the Youth Hostel just south of the river that night, and plan to watch the England-Paraguay game on the big screen that they will have set up on the river.

We'll be there from the 9th-12th in the morning, before we head to our game!

It'll be sweet catching the opening game on that screen. Then it's off to bed for sure.

Apfelwein (supposedly Ebbelwoi in the local dialect) is the drink that Frankfurt is famous for. You can get it anywhere but the place to drink it is in the Sachsenhausen area south of the river, very close on where the screens will be. Some people drink it straight, sometimes mixed with soda water. Don't care for it myself, but if you do drink it be careful. It can kick your @$$.

Flying AA out of Boston, June 10 at 835, into Manchester where I pick up a BMI flight operated by Lufthansa, into Frankfurt at noon on the 11th.
Found this through Orbitz a few months back, and looks like they still have later versions of this still selling.

For anyone looking for an amazing deal.. Singapore Air, as of last night, had flights out of JFK direct for $668 (taxes included) for the 10th, coming back on the 24th.

Im staying with a friend in Wiesbaden and they're picking me up, so I'll have them look for the rest of you at the pub before I arrive. :)
