Sounds like an issue that could be heat-related, and we're talking on the CPU. When you are able to boot up and get into the BIOS, what kind of temperatures are you seeing on the CPU?
By the way, you may be able to get some help from these folks (http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.aspx?catid=27&entercat=y). ;)
The CPU speeds in the BIOS are always optimum, I have the values written down, but that's the problem because the only time I can access the BIOS is when the comp has been off for a long period of time so I would assume the machine is cool then even thought the main PSU switch is/has been on. CPU...:( that'd be heavy on the pocket.
Oh btw, i am not 1337 enough for true techie forums. Those guys scare me. lol. I may give it a shot.. as a last resort :(
I willl take the PC to pieces over the weekend first and see if a rebuild helps?

Well, I mean that when it does turn on, go ahead and leave it on for a while, 4-5 hours or whatever until you get a steady state temperature. If its above 50C, well... that might be your issue.

LOL, don't worry they're pretty cool as long as you don't ask something like "help my computer is the blue screen OMG WTF!!!" They're not a hardcore techie forum, so you will hopefully be able to get a little assistance without being belittled.

Okies, I'll test it tonight. Would me having my comp on 24/7caused this anyway?

Well, I don't know if that per se is the problem you're having with the computer not starting, but if its generating too much heat, then its possible. But the blue screens you are getting definitely point to a hardware issue, possibly the RAM or some IDE driver maybe.

Right so I've heard about people downloading torrents of football matches. Can someone explain what these are and how I would go about doing it?

Basically on fbtz.com, you'll find the torrent file. The torrent file, much to people's confusion, is not the actual video of the match. It's sort of a gateway file. You have to open the torrent file using a program like utorrent, or any variety of other torrent-handling programs. It's not that complicated, but it takes getting used to the first time.

Yeah, you can watch it while its seeding actually. Seeding just means that you're done downloading, and now you're only uploading it.
Basically you want to check what your "share ratio" is on that file. General BitTorrent etiquette says that it should be about "1", meaning you've uploaded as much as you've downloaded. Of course its up to you when you want to stop seeding.
But long story short, yes you can watch the video now.

That means that you are uploading as well as downloading it (unless you already finished the download).
So you can watch it. You can't move it though until you stop the seed. Then you can just put the file wherever you want.
Actually, I think seeding means its completely finished downloading.

Uggghhhh!!!
Alright, a DELL support window popped up about 3 hours ago that said I needed to download an update for my DVD RW. I think "Whatever" and download it. The thing ********ed up, and now my DVD RW won't open. Plus, the computer doesn't recognize that the bloody thing is even there, so I can't download a new driver or anything. PLUS, those ********ers at Dell have been giving me the run-around all evening by hanging up on me and not answering me on their online chat.
Anyone have any suggestions?
