Does anyone know the World Cup roster deadline?

Last time it was May 20th..
I'll see if I can find the new one at FIFA..

Couldn't find it anywhere.. Not at FIFA by search or the net by search..
Must be somewhere at FIFA's site..

I did a quick search and found that May 15th is the last day for players that will be going to the wc, to play for their respective clubs. Only players playing in the European champions league final can play until May 17th.

But again, this doesn't exactly mean that the deadline is the 15th. COuld be earlier that this.

The list of not more than 23 players (showing the full last name(s), every first name, popular name, name on the shirt, position, place and date of birth, passport number, club and country of the club) shall be submitted to the FIFA general secretariat, using the official form for this purpose, no later than 14 (fourteen) full days before the opening match in the final competition. Only these 23 players (except in the case of force majeure recognised by the Organising Committee for the FIFA World CupTM) will be permitted to compete in the final competition.

14 days before June 9 is May 26... so the info I posted is wrong.

I did a quick search and found that May 15th is the last day for players that will be going to the wc, to play for their respective clubs. Only players playing in the European champions league final can play until May 17th.

If the regulations say (effectively) May 26th then it must be possible for changes to be made up to this date, if needed. No?

So if a player plays in a league game after the 15th, he becomes ineligible for the World Cup? What if he's on standby for a player who's recovering from an injury? He's supposed to sacrifice a few important domestic end-of-season games "just in case"?

Good idea by FIFA, but doesn't seem too practical.
