We're still in first. But I hear other teams play occasionally as well - discuss amongst yourselves.

Caption contest, anyone?

Fletcher: So will this really make me a better footballer?
Ruud: Yes, now shut up and take me!

Thatis the second time I have laughed out loud in the last 5 minutes.

Well, we won't have to listen about any "best club team in the world" :)

Okay, so I've decided to grin and bear and watch some Italian football.

Adriano to be specific.

Should have scored already, great jump and powerful header, well saved by the keeper.

The lad seems to have gotten bigger.

Italian football

I think I'll take the dog for a walk and then take the wife out to breakfast before the game starts.

Scousers lose to Sao Paolo...seems like they were all over them and lost...the corner count was 17-0 in their favour and they 3 goals ruled out for offside apparently...anyone see the game?

I know these games are somewhat meaningless, but it seems Liverpool never win these World club thingies, losing to Flamenco and Indiependiente back in the day

Real Madrid are 2-0 down to Racing Santander and can't seem to string more than 4 passes together.

Robinho is crap, and is going for glory at every opportunity. At one point Zidane, Beckham, and Ronaldo were all open on the center-right of the penalty box and he decided to show how high he could shank it.

Zani would be very unpopular at the Oscar's, as the best part of the night is actually opening the envelopes. :D

Still down by 1 goal at home to ********ing Racing Santander. Good thing it's a slow day at work, 'cause I'm going to have some damage control to do in the Real Madrid forum.

You know things are bad when we're hoping Roberto Soldado will save our asses. This feels like Toshack's reign all over again.
