I wanted to throw this out and see if I am the only one that thinks this is out of line.

So my company is going to 'merge' with this big national firm at the beginning of the year. The big co. has a small office here in town, and our office invited these guys to our X-mas party to get to know them and meet new people since we will be merging offices. Anyway, as part of the X-mas bash, there is a tradition of having door prizes and basically everyone gets something. It is mostly for the CAD and Admin who don't get the same perks as we do. So they begin drawing names (it is first come first serve to the gifts with there being some fance stuff, like iPod Shuffle, printers, DVD players, etc.) and these new guys start taking home all the best stuff! It really pissed me off that there were CAD guys taking home sconces and some guy who isn't even a part of the company yet gets a digital photo printer!

I am afraid it is a sign of things to come.
