And sorry about the head cold, Cam. Perhaps a drink or two for you as well?
I think all the Holiday parties over the weekend and associated drinks is why I still have the damn head cold! :o Thanks for the thoughts though! :D

I am reminded of a lovely holiday film that I watched last night....instead of seeing my weekend of sports go down in flames......where a fine gentleman was awaiting a Christmas bonus to pay for his new pool only to get jams and jellies........ ;)

 Is this for real? Now that's sad.
Btw, Jen and I have started our own tradition of in turn giving the ham to the local food shelter. It's much appreciated.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to GriffinGunner again.
Nice, GG. True holiday spirit!!

Thanks for the nods, guys. I'll confess we got the idea from our church, which has two big service projects every year for the local food pantry. The good news from this year's Thanksgiving effort was that requests for dinners was down from the 1,200 last year. AKA; all the local charities found fewer needy families, even with a handful of Katrina evacuees in the area. Hope springs eternal, even in the Abromovich era. :D
I'd love to be able to do more. Someday I hope to be tithing to church instead of Citibank.

OK, so the move went fairly well on Saturday, then there was the match on Sunday, but then I got cable at the new place when I got home from the pub. So, a pretty good weekend overall.
I'm so f-ing tired though. That, and my laptop had no connectivity this morning for some reason. Ended up having to do a system restore back to last Wednesday.
Alright, is it nap time yet?

Good deal on the move Mike! I hate moving and hope to not do it again for quite some time.
Some good news on the work front. I just got in a good blow to this jackass academic I have been dealing with. He kept saying that because he did two different tests on these samples that he was supposed to report the information in two seperate reports, and insinuated that I was basically too stupid to figure this out. Therefore, I quoted him the spec this morning on how the information is supposed to be combined and presented. It is good to be right.
