It was insane. Working in a male dominated field such as I do, the male/female ratio last night was not even worth calculating. There were 13 guys, and only 1 girl. Pretty f-ed up.
So, after about an hour into the party, somebody realized that it was a regular sausage fest, and five guys went down to the bars a couple of blocks down to find some girls to even the scales.
They were apparently successful in chatting up several young ladies, but none were inclined to join them back at the house party.
Anyway, while they were gone was when those inappropriate comments I mentioned earlier were made. Among the tamer comments, upon the girl's request that I put on "GOOD" music, (drunk girl code for something she can dance to), was "Dude! Hurry up! The only way she'll get naked is if she keeps drinking. And the only way she'll keep drinking is if she keeps dancing!" And this was about his own sister in law!
I don't know about you, but if I was at a party with my sister in law where she was the only girl at a party with 13 guys, I'd make damn sure nothing untoward happened, not hope for the exact opposite!

Just checking in from South Beach. Went and watched the Arsenal game yesterday at the Playwright. Took it pretty easy last night but thats because i was still recovering from the night before. The weather down here is a little chilly about 68 and breezy but its nice. Miami is like a ghost town the week before X-Mas, but there is still fun to be had.

Afraid we're a tad poor for the XM or ipods at the moment. Spent the morning burning compilations for the Mrs. Making those covers was rather fun, and it sure beats busy work when times are slow. Been practicing my soduku and logic problems, as well.

If you meet a guy named Eamon (one of the owners) or a bartender Catherine at the Playwright, tell them I said hello!
And for a good meal, head over to the Grillfish on Espanola and Collins. A buddy of mine Alex used to bartend there.

c) I've been supportive of my wife's grand design to save getting the Christmas tree until this week, but even I saw this one coming: She just called from her cell to indicate that the tree farm we annually visit is closed for the season and that the other places she stopped at had very little to offer. :rolleyes: Shocking, I know. Guess Julia and I will be in full tree hunting mode tonight.
