I've been to Red Rocks, but never saw a show there unfortunatley. The Dead in Soldier Field was a lot of fun. But although it is pretty commercial, I really enjoyed going to shows at the House of Blues in Orlando when I lived over in Melbourne. I saw a few great shows there, it was small/intimate, and you had a great view of the band from everywhere. Also, the bar wrapped around the entire venue so there were no lines for beer!

I haven't been to too many venues outside of the Chicago area, so I'm going to stick with Alpine Vally and Ravinia

ive never been to MSG.. something i must do (me, you, and mike).
~lakewood was a great experience.. something about that weekend down there was so fun.. we actually went to the braves/cubs game on that thursday before the friday show. just when that ballpark was brand new.

now i only went for the vegas bday weekend in 2000.. but i thought the venue was pants.,. the all GA was okay, if it hadnt been for my gf who didnt want to run to get our seats, so we had crap seats both nights..
the shows were pretty cool, with some golden oldies.. but for a venue, i thought it left to the imagination (did i say that right?? lol)

i should mention, this intimate theatre was absolutely fantastic.. the brady theatre in tulsa, ok.

i think it sat, maybe 1000 people.. i stood literally at the stage.. about 4 feet from the band.. the band i saw that night.. widespread panic.. was ****************ting with mike houser during the breaks.. was really cool.

fillmore west is amazing....an incredible oil painting of jg plus all of the show posters around the walls...pheels magical in there.

Yep. Another great place, though I haven't seen a show there, is the Cain Ballroom in Tulsa. It is an old honky-tonk house and has the springy floor for dancing! My sister sees the Rev there all the time. Tons of photos of all the great old country stars and some others as well.

the norva...the only venue in the nation w/ a hot tub back stage
